On June 9 through to 13 numerous items were announced by Steve Jobs, including the iPhone 3G, iPhone Software 2.0, MobileMe, AppStore and more.

In just over two days we will see these items rolled out on the shelves to many waiting lines, some of which started last week.

I came across a timeline of the iPhone the other day, and it’s definitely worth a look to see where it’s come from. Head over to iPhone Gold to check it out.

I, personally am looking forward to iPhone 3G (as it is the first iPhone to be released in Australia) and MobileMe. Even for a beefed up .Mac, the new online software by Apple is sure to be a hit.

What are you looking forward to most on July 11 (or later, even if it is expected that all of the above will be released on the same day)? Comment away.

I think the iPhone has received too much publicity - there are a number of other phones out there that have more features than the iPhone… And have already been available for quite a while…
