Ever wanted to type in MSN, Microsoft Word, Pages or another application in a foreign language?  Japanese? Chinese? Well this article will explain to you exactly how to do so. Read more to see the steps with graphics.

 First, open up System Preferences, and click on the international tab.

 From there, choose Input Menu (at the top) and select the languages you wish. As you can see, I chose Hiragana and Katakana in Japanese.  Also click the menu bar option down the bottom.
Select Language

 Now, in your favourite text editor, change the flag/symbol in your menu bar to what you wish, and type! 
Select Language
