With Macworld coming up, the rumour has it that Apple is planning on making brand new releases. Not new generations of existing products - Apple is planning on taking yet another risk and dipping into another area of the market. What market? No-one knows, as Apple is keeping tight lipped. One thing that seems to be for sure is that Apple is planning on making their devices even more portable with a so called “Ultra Portable Macbook”.

Image from Yankodesign.com What is ironic about this brand new piece of Apple chocolate is that Steve Jobs was once known for “disliking tablet PC’s” yet it seems almost certain that this is where Apple Inc is planning on going.  However, Steve Jobs also said that he’d never enter the mobile phone market, and now look at the most popular and well known phone in the United States.

One thing has the Mac follows up in arms - and that is that this new style laptop will not have an internal DVD drive.  Instead, if you wish to burn a CD, you will have to buy an external drive.  However with the brand new Leopard OS, this tablet is liking to go off with a bang - or as Steve Jobbs puts it - “Boom!“.

Other rumours about Macworld include an iPhone Generation Two with support for 3G, a feature that current iPhone owners have been longing for.  All the iPhone and iPod Touch community can hope for is that Apple would get a move on with allowing Third Party Apps, and not another firmware that disables the most common Jailbreak program.

Till next time, Have Another Apple :)
